Session 2 ONLY: week of March 21st to week of May 2nd - 7 Weeks Meeting Times: Wednesdays 4:30 to 6pm Location: The Sanctuary Runner Age: 6th to 8th Graders ONLY Biking Club Structure: This group is just for middle school riders. They will get a chance to work on their independence, spend time on the road and trails with friends, and have fun in this recreational setting. Rides will take these bikers down to the hike and bike trail, the dirt bike park, as well as Shoal Creek Trail. Austin Youth Fitness Running Groups focus on improving running endurance and overall fitness, developing "functional" strength, flexibility, and improving core strength and body alignment. Participants will participate in drills, practice form, run in relays, and our groups always end with a fun filled game! AYF athletes will likely see improvements in self-image, confidence, attitude, social-interpersonal-relationship skills, as well as an increased ability to focus on tasks and schoolwork. Please remember to provide a water bottle for your child to ensure proper hydration! *This AYF group is open to students from any school or homeschool. If your child is older or younger than the group maximum or minimum age, let us know if they'd still like to try out this group.
