Spring Break Cycling - CANCELED!
Structure:
Cycle the City Camp will start with a review of all bicycle safety procedures as well as ways for bikers to maintain their bikes. From Westenfield Park, we will head on our bikes down the Johnson Creek Trail and other bike lanes to popular destinations around Austin. We will visit Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Pease Park, Austin Nature Center, and other great destinations like these. Campers will need their own bike (all-terrain, hybrid, mountain bike) helmet, and a water bottle cage on bike (not required). Bikers should be comfortable biking 1.5 to 2 miles before a rest stop. Structure - Sports Camp: This camp will focus on developing fundamental skills and techniques in a variety of sports. Students can expect to laugh, play and exercise as they polish their skills in sports like volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball, and soccer. |
