Sessions 2 ONLY: week of March 21st to week of May 2nd - 7 week Meeting Times: BOTH Tuesdays & Fridays 3:30 to 5pm Runner Age: Pre-K to 2nd* Biking Club Structure: All non-beginner biking clubs will be for students 1st to 8th grade who can bike over 1.5 to 2 miles without needing a break. Mountain bikes are suggested as well as having a Camelbak or water bottle cage. The Beginner Biking group on Fridays is for children Pre-K to 3rd grade who are just learning to ride a bike independently. Austin Youth Fitness Running Groups focus on improving running endurance and overall fitness, developing "functional" strength, flexibility, and improving core strength and body alignment. Participants will participate in drills, practice form, run in relays, and our groups always end with a fun filled game! AYF athletes will likely see improvements in self-image, confidence, attitude, social-interpersonal-relationship skills, as well as an increased ability to focus on tasks and schoolwork. Please remember to provide a water bottle for your child to ensure proper hydration! *This AYF group is open to students from any school or homeschool. If your child is older or younger than the group maximum or minimum age, let us know if they'd still like to try out this group.
