Austin Youth Fitness Kids Yoga Class combines simple yoga poses with creative movement, engaging songs and stories, and games to foster mindfulness and awareness, exercise social, sensory and motor skills all while increasing flexibility, balance, coordination, and concentration, on and off the mat. This playful class encourages self-expression, a positive self-image, and kindness towards ourselves and others. Kids will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing, visualization, and relaxation techniques in this energy releasing class. Through partner/group poses and activities, they will develop a sense of courage, trust, connection, collaboration, deep listening, and celebration.

*This AYF group is open to students from any school or homeschool. If your child is older or younger than the group maximum or minimum age, let us know if they'd still like to try out this group.
