Biking Club Plans


Below you will find a parent instruction page as well as videos to help you with week 1 of beginner and advanced biking clubs. You can view this, print these out, or just reference them as you are starting! They will change week to week and correlate with the videos here. If you're looking for the Running Club @ Home plans, you can find those here!

Biking Club Rules:
1. Pay Attention / Be Aware / Look Ahead / Listen
2. AYF Communication System - Verbal Cues: Rolling, Slowing, Stopping, Turning, Car-Up/Car-Back
3. Give Space - Allow one bike’s length on flat, smooth, dry surfaces.
Give additional space going down hill, through tunnels, on wet surfaces or gravel.
4. No Passing - Exception: The biker in front of you is walking, and it is safe for both him/her to pass on the left.
5. No Racing - We will at times “ride hard,” and go fast, but aggressive racing is not allowed.
6. Single File - “Wheel Behind Wheel” when stopping
7. Ride Friendly - Be a good teammate and a good friend. Encourage and help others.
8. Have FUN! - Come to bike group with a positive attitude, ready to ride, try your best, work as a team, and have fun!
